Powering Together Lancashire is a joint project with our technology delivery partner, the Centre for Energy Equality (CEE) to deliver a new social virtual power plant for households across Lancashire. 

Following a successful feasibility study in 2025, the current Phase 1 project, funded by the Great British Energy Community Fund, is implementing new software to optimise home batteries of existing Cosy Homes customers and provide services to the grid.  

This will maximise savings for households and help to balance the grid as it decarbonises.
