A team built on experience

Green Rose is led by a team with deep roots across the public, private and community energy sectors. We combine technical retrofit expertise, financial and business development experience, and years of frontline community support work.

Our advisors hold recognised qualifications, including Level 3 Retrofit Advisor accreditation, and bring backgrounds spanning occupational therapy, social housing, charity development, youth and community work, and energy policy consultancy. It's this breadth of experience that allows us to give households genuinely holistic support and gives our partners confidence that delivery is in safe hands.

Georgina Sommerville

Director

Georgina has a background in social housing, charity development and quality assurance management. She is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and oversees the operational delivery of Green Rose’s programmes

James Sommerville

Director

James has worked in the energy industry for over a decade in various roles across the public, private and community sectors. He leads on Green Rose’s financial and business development functions and also runs a separate energy policy consultancy.

Alexandra Wolfenden

Director

Alex is the Director of a charitable trust that supports vulnerable people and their families to achieve their goals, including providing secure and sheltered accommodation. She uses her experience here and from a decade working as a housing director to lead on Green Rose’s strategic development.
