Energy Matters expands to Wyre District

Providing advice and support to our most vulnerable residents, Energy Matters has been supporting residents in fuel poverty and fuel crisis since 2024. The project won the Regional Small Scale Project of the Year at the North West Energy Efficiency Awards 2025 and the first year’s impact report can be found here.

Commissioned by the Energy Redress Scheme, Green Rose initially partnered with Citizen’s Advice North Lancashire. When the project was recommissioned for another 2 years in April 2026, this was expanded to include Citizen’s Advice Preston District.

The Energy Matters project format has now expanded again, funded by Wyre District Council. Green Rose will be delivering the vital support service to those who need detailed one-to-one support to help them navigate their home energy issues and stay warm and well at home.

We have recruited a new staff member to the Green Rose team specifically to deliver this project in Wyre, supported by our existing Energy Matters team.
